A three-layer corset with steel boning, fabrics to be determined by the customer. One layer of silk or Jacquard, one layer of coutil , and a layer of cotton.

The hero fabric will be what you see from the outside of the corset and can be corset fabric, silk of a certain variety or other bottom weight fabrics, not upholstery or heavy tapestry as those are both too difficult to get through my machine and cause an unpleasant type of bulk.

Coutil is used as the inner core, on which the steel boning will sit, and creates a layer of strength and stability.

The cotton interior helps to wick away moisture and creates a very comfortable inner layer even when placed against bare skin.

Steel boning, not spring steel, nor featherweight, will be used to create stability within the corset. The corset will also be quilted so that it does not shift between layers, and creates a very stable scaffolding. My corsets lace both front and back, but adjustments can be made for those who only want a back lacing corset or a front lacing corset.

We will have a conversation over measurements, how best to take them, and overall shape and accoutrement on the corset itself. This may raise the price of the corset, and the difference can be paid before work is started
